Dr. Marzullo-Dove is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in private practice in South Tampa and Washington, DC, with clinical experience treating children, adolescents, emerging adults, adults and older adults. Her practice provides therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Education
Dr. Marzullo-Dove received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology, her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, and her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington. Her Masters, Doctoral, and Internship experiences were in American Psychological Association (APA) accredited organizations.
Training
Before starting her private practice, Dr. Marzullo-Dove worked in a university counseling center, inpatient treatment centers, and outpatient treatment settings with children, adolescents, and adults.
She has provided therapeutic services to children and adolescents with behavioral and psychological issues in a charter school in Washington, DC. She provided therapy to emerging adults and adults in undergraduate and graduate programs at Howard University in Washington, DC. With adults, she worked with all adult age groups at a residential setting treating gambling and other addictions. In all of these settings, where indicated for the benefit of her clients, she has incorporated therapeutic services to address immigration and acculturation issues.
Most recently, Dr. Marzullo-Dove has been working in a private practice providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as psychological assessments.
Dr. Marzullo-Dove is continuing her psychoanalytic training and is the President of the Psychoanalytical local chapter (WPSP) of the American Psychological Association (APA) in Washington, DC.
Awards
Dr. Marzullo-Dove graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected President to Phi Theta Kappa, received the New Century Award, was selected as a member of the Top Ten All Virginia Academic Team, and received the Excellence in Leadership in the Latino Community Award.
Supervision / Teaching
Dr. Marzullo-Dove has supervised Masters-level students.
Her teaching experiences include serving as Adjunct Professor at the undergraduate level and as a Teacher Assistant at the doctoral level.

Approach
Dr. Marzullo-Dove uses an integrative approach to psychotherapy. She is committed to working with you to fully understand your developmental history, past struggles, unique circumstances of your life, and current challenges; while applying techniques from different theories, such as Psychodynamics, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and EFT-Emotional Freedom Technique.
